Six Ways to Make Other People Like You

"Six Ways to Make Other People Like You"

Rule 1: Become genuinely interested in other people.
1)
"Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2) "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
3) "Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."

At times friends can really help you at the most difficult times in your life. You can influence so many people in different ways. The only thing you have to do is make an effort to fine people that your interested in. Being interested

If you show interest in others people will like you and will want to talk more with you. If you act stuck up no one will like you. If you are very conceded and don't care for others usually people wont get along with you. So therefore, is it good to always care for others. There is nothing wrong with it. If you are genially interested let them now by showing how and why. Ask things that are interesting but don't cross any boundaries between you two. Make somebodies day by being interested. Showing interest shows you care about them. It also lets them know that their lives  are interesting to you. It is also making you more knowledgeable towards someone.

Rule 2: Smile

1) "Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says, "I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."

2) "You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."
3) "It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) of friends."

Some moments in our life are better captured with a smile. When you smile it is an indicator of how happy you are. At times a simple smile can brighten an entire day. Smiles make you seem more approachable then when mad. If you look mad you may intimidate others. As well as you may get others in a bad mood. Smiling can make someone laugh. It can help you be happier as well. Smiling is the expression of joy. Never be afraid to smile.

Rule 3: Remember names

2) "If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."

Remembering names can be good. It shows your interest in someone. It can make them happier that you notice and are aware they exist

Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves
1) " If you aspire to be a good conversationalist, be an attentive listener."
2) "Remember that the man you are talking to is a hundred times more interested in himself and his wants and his problems than he is in you and your problems.

Listen to others and their problems. It shows you care about them and the things that are happening in their lives. It shows that you care about them which helps you build trust with them. Building trust can help further the relationship with your friends.

Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other man's interest.

1) "The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures most."

Rule 6: Make the other person feel important--and do it sincerely.

1) "The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature." (John Dewey)"Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic."

Reflection:
In the end all of these things can help you by improving your social skills with others. Each of these rules helps better you as a person. If you follow these rules you are choosing the right. Choosing the right makes you a better and happier person. By making friends that are good you help make them happy whenever they are down. Help by being interested in them. You can also give them a friendly smile. Remembering their names can also help. Being a good listener whenever they need it. Also by encouraging them to talk about themselves. Talking in terms of someone else and their interest. And finally by making them feel important in a sincere way and not do it to only please the public eye. I feel by following these rules I have become happier and a better person to socialize with.
