1.) Be Grateful
We take various things on a daily basis for granted. Starting off with waking up healthy every morning. We have to be thankful for our life and even though some tragedies may cause us to lose sight of things we should remain humble and grateful for what we have. We are spoiled as children and think that life is great. Our parents buy us things that others wish to have but we don't think of it like that. Our parents give us everything and we just take if for granted never really giving it any real value. We hardly never stop to think of what our lives what be made of if our parents weren't there. We would be lost with no home, hungry, and not safe. So always be thankful for your parents and those around you as well for what you have. Kids starve and are homeless and you just sit at home all day while they cry themselves to be sleep due to their poor living conditions. People will come and go so enjoy and be happy with every single moment you spend with someone because they can be gone tomorrow. Always be grateful for your life and what you have. Stop worrying for what you don't have and be grateful for what you do. Be grateful for everything you have.

I will be grateful for my friends and family. I will always cherish each and every moment I spend with them and thank them for being by my side. I will be thankful for who I am and what I grew up to be. I will be humble for the things I have and the meals I eat. I will cherish every minute of my life and be thankful that I am alive. I will be grateful.


2.) Be Smart
In life to become successful in no matter what career you choose to be in you will always need to be smart. I say this because in every industry or in any job you get you will have to use your knowledge in one way or another. For example, a chemist has to be smart in knowing the periodic table of elements and multiple compounds and mixtures there is in chemistry meanwhile, a surgeon has to have knowledge on the human anatomy and know where organs in the body are located. Both require your intelligence to achieve its own individual task. Now this can be associated to everyday situations as well. Being smart needs for you to be logical at times. If your friends are pressuring you to do something you don't want to or something you know is not morally correct then you should choose the right and use logic to realize that maybe they really aren't your friends and try to make new ones. Logic is a part of being smart because when you use logic it is using what is the most rightful thing to do. When someone falls you help them get up because it is the right thing to do. Being smart makes decision making a lot easier in life. Being smart actually makes life a lot more simpler as well! With knowledge and skill the world is much more understandable and things are a lot easier and simpler. Being smart gives you a much better chance of becoming successful or of achieving your goals in life.

I will be smart and achieve all goals I set out to achieve all I can. I will learn and cherish the new skills I learn in life. I will become smarter everyday and push my intelligence to limits far beyond imaginable. I will be grateful for the knowledge and intelligence I obtain.


3.) Be Involved in Good Works
When was the last time you gave back to the community or just simply did something that made you feel better? One way to make yourself a happier person is to be involved with good works. Some examples are doing community services like picking up trash or by going to feed the homeless at the homeless shelters. There is various ways you can do good works not just by volunteering in community services. One way is to wash the dishes or do other chores around your house to help it stay clean because after all you do live their. Also it would be a relief to your parents who work several hours to help you in life.it is good to be involved with the community. You can join clubs to help grow and better the community around you. You feel a lot better morally that you do these things. Knowing you make the community safer and more cleaner for future generations is always great. Giving back to the community is always great. You can make someone's day when you do these good works. So go ahead and volunteer at your local community service group or simply help around to make your environment safer and better to live in. So always remember to be involved with good works and the community around you. In the end you will be more happier.

I will be a better individual to my community by cleaning and looking after it. I will give back to my community whenever they need it and whenever they aren't I will still offer my hand. I will better my community and the environment around me.

4.) Be Clean
There are many ways to make yourself happy be being clean. Being clean can be applied to various situations. You can choose to have a clean environment at home or at work. Having an organized work space or being organized at home can really help making you feel happier and makes life easier. You can also choose to be a clean minded person. What we think shows out characteristics on the inside. If we think of bad things we change as to when were positive and thinking of the right. Being clean is being pure. You can do this using various methods as avoiding things you know aren't right. You can choose to be a better person everyday be being clean and keeping that environment around you clean. So always remember to choose the right and be clean.

5.) Be True
One way to make yourself a happier person is by being true to your self. Now a days people focus too much on being whatever others tell them to be. They worry about how they dress or music they like. Just anything that people do can worry someone because they want to impress others. But in reality no one really looks out for that. Everyone is more busy focusing on themselves and the things they need to get done. They also get obsessed with becoming unique. They want to be so apart from everyone else they forget who they truly are. They're many ways to forget to being true to yourself. Either by changing for those around you or by changing to be unique. So no matter who or what always remember to stay true to yourself. As well as those around you. Never change because you are perfect the way you are.

6.) Be Positive
Another way to be happier and a better person is to be positive. Don't be a pessimist and ruin things for others. Enjoy every moment of life. There is no need to be down and shady about everything. Its always great to experience new things in life and to gain new abilities. Being positive also improves your mood and attitude about things. Being positive makes you a better person the inside and out. Don't be that annoying person that complains about everything they do. It is better if you look at what your doing and the good that comes with it. Being positive helps you with choosing the right. Whenever you are under pressure to do wrong being positive helps your judgment and your decision making. Also being positive can help by making everyone around you happier because whenever there is positivity it spreads around like oxygen in the air. So whenever your being positive, you help bring up everybody's moral.

7.) Be Humble
Always be humble and grateful for what you have. Some people forget where they come from and forget to be humble. Others are spoiled and never learn how to show their gratitude towards the things in their life. So it is vital for our happiness that we show our humbleness. We must always remember our true roots and become much happier individuals on the outside and on the inside. Being humble can open you in so many ways. You see life in a much better viewpoint. Some choose to be selfish and never stop to be grateful towards what they have in life. They become greedy and forget what they were in the past. So they never acknowledge the things they went to and act better than others. They must be reminded to never be ungrateful for what they have. Choose the right and be humble to make the world a happier place.

8.) Be Still.
Sometimes in this chaotic world that never stops spinning we should take the time to be at peace. Meditation is a great way to be at peace with themselves. It gives us time to think and find calmness. Its good to always take some time to yourself. To reflect on the things going on around you or the things that are happening to you. You get to just be you. So by being still you create a more peaceful you. You calm yourself and allow yourself to think properly. Going out for a nice walk alone to just hear the calming breeze or walking alone at the beach hearing the waves crash can also be ways you can do this. Some of the greatest intellectuals took a lot of time to be still and think about the life. still allows you to relax and take a break when you feel tired. After a long week of hard work its nice to go out and be at one with yourself and being worry free. You can make yourself happier by being still.

In the end these simple things can make a very big impact in your life. This can change your life to either make it good or bad. Ultimately its up to whomever to take it upon themselves to change their lives. But as for me I want to be happier and a better role model for my community. I want to be known for the good I can bring to it. I want to make others happy as well. I just want for everyone to get along with one another. I will use this to guide me to be happier and more successful in life.
